God's Awesomeness

How awesome is the God we worship, how he reminds us, he is always there, even when we don't think we need him.  After reflecting on my life and what he has done I am reminded that he has always been there and reminded of the poem Footprints in the Sand.  For me it footprints on my heart.

At the beginning of the year God laid on my heart a few Bible passages and during the year he reminded me by bringing music, songs that would speak to my heart, letting me know he's there with me.

The passages he laid on my heart was Ps 1, Ps 121, Matt 6:33 as time went by, he laid on my heart music by Casting Crowns titled "Slow Fade"  while listening to the music, God brought a teaching video, basis on the the bible passage.
Psalms 1:1-2 (KJV) Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.  2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
That was 1 of 3 passages that God laid on my heart, it heighten my awareness, but like most I still have struggles that seem to pull at me.  Yet God is faithful, because he loves us,  he continues to give us the strength that is needed.  How awesomes is the God that gave his only son to die for us.

Again the Lord brought music and songs from the Movie "Letters to God" sung by the warren brothers titled
"Dear Mr. God"  and Casting Crowns song titled "Praise you in the storm." The Lord reminded me that he is in control of my life and he is always there. He brought to memory another passage he laid on my heart the beginning of the year. Psalms 121:1-2 (KJV) I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
I am again reminded that God with me. He will never leaves or forsake us, and we need to look to God for help.

On Saturday while listening to music and  writting my thought I was moved by Mercy Me song titled " Finally Home" and I thought about the words, it made me think, about the  many question that I would like to ask God when I see him face to face.   Will I be able ask those question or will I too be frozen in my footsteps at  his awesome presence and be unable to speak?  God has much more to reveal to me.  He has a purpose and a reason for everything that happens in my life, and I am a work in progress.
Thank You Lord for your Love, Grace and Mercy.
