2010 Reflecting
Looking back at 2010 there was lots of times that I really cried out for Help, yet those times helped to build up my character. After looking back at a previous posting titled "My Help", realized that there was another song that God laid on my heart. It took me some time for me to find the song I went to sleep with that song on my mind I woke up still that song played on my mind. I know that God had laid that peticular song on my heart to remind me that, my help cometh from the Lord .
Psalms 121 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills from whence cometh my help my help cometh from the Lord the maker of Heaven and earth ......
God has always been there for me and will continue to be there no matter his love is unconditional.

The Closing of Another Year *(Opening Of a New Year)
As the year winds down to a close and the New Year slowly creeps in, I am reminded of the scriptures and the Music God has laid on my heart at the beginning of the year 2010 on Jan 1, 2010. these were the scriptures that God laid on my heart; Psalms 1:1-5, Psalms 121:1-2, Matthew 6:33, and sometime later the Music by Casting Crowns titled "Slow Fade". Later I found a teaching Video by Leadsinger and Youth Pastor Mark Hall on Psalms 1:15 which may have inspired the song "Slow Fade".
After Reflecting on those scriptures and Music I am reminded that during the year I slowly faded and did not draw near to God because I was to peoccuppied with other things yet God has always been there for me, continually reminding me how much he loved me. Our down falls do not happen overnight, Its a slow fade or progression. Here is a part of the lyrics.
It's a slow fade when you give yourself away
It's a slow fade when black and white have turned to gray
Thoughts invade, choices are made, a price will be paid
When you give yourself away
People never crumble in a day
Daddies never crumble in a day
Families never crumble in a day
The question I ask myself is why am I so preoccuppied. My mind should be on God.
What is the Age old Question You would ask youself?

Difficulties Letting My Light Shine!
Lately I have not been a good christian. At work things are happening, and no matter what, it can become very difficult. I keep asking myself is it because I am being Envious. I need to seek help and prayer to humble my heart. I need to let my light shine and to stay focus.

Question and more question?
There a question that seems to cross my mind on occassion. Are we living in the most important time of history? Will I be ready for when the world ends?, or as the many faith base people who believe in God, Will I be caught up in the rapture? Its a question I really can say I am not sure.
Most faith base people believe once saved always saved. I believe only God knows the answer to the age old question who will be saved.
I know that I am a sinner and god despise the sinner. Romans 3:23 (KJV) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 6:23 (KJV) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. God at the end of that scripture, says BUT THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE. God's gift is JESUS CHRIST whom he gave his only SON to DIE for our SINS. We all have different interpretation of the word of God. I can only hope by prayer to stay within his grace, yet it is such a struggle to remain FREE OF SIN, when there are MANY STRONGHOLD in ourlives. I have many stronghold that only by prayer and with Gods help can I be set free. I know that there are many people have struggles and trying to be obedient to the word of god is difficult, Only with Gods help is it possible.

Reap
Its been awhile since I have written in my blog. There is so much on my mind that I have not been, true to the One (GOD) person that matters the most. We like to think that no body sees or hears the things that we so think are done in secret. Yet if you really are not faith base or believe in God than, such things we do does not matter. Yet I truly believe everything you do in life to yourself God and others wether it be good or bad wil return.
The cliche "what goes around comes around" does come around. The scripture "What you sow you reap." Is so true you reap. We may think we get away with it but we really don't. Yet God continues to love us unconditionally

Encouragement & Uplifting
Today I was encourage to watch Letters to God, and I was glad I watch the movie. It was so heartfelt and it brought tears to my eyes. It was so uplifting and encouraging. We don't always pray yet I think writing a letter to God is praying, as a quote Tyler says in the movie 'its like texting my best friend." God is and should be consider mankinds "BEST FRIEND".
It seems the only time we pray is when we are in trouble and need Gods help. I am guilty of that all the time. Everytime I look back and reflect on those times I see how God has always been there. When we pray he answer our prayers, not in the way we may have wanted it answer or in the time we wanted it. Yet he always answered and did, what is in our best interest.
Today Also I watch the Count of Monte Cristo. It reminded me that God is in control and he will do all that is needed in ourlives according to his purpose for he has a plan for us. We may not know what the plan is for us, Only the Father, The Son ( Jesus), and the Holy Spirt know the plan and the purpose of each individual. I thank God for uplifting and encouraging me. Unlike Tyler the Cancer that plagues me is that of the World, and disobedience. Thank you Lord.

God's Awesomeness
How awesome is the God we worship, how he reminds us, he is always there, even when we don't think we need him. After reflecting on my life and what he has done I am reminded that he has always been there and reminded of the poem Footprints in the Sand. For me it footprints on my heart.
At the beginning of the year God laid on my heart a few Bible passages and during the year he reminded me by bringing music, songs that would speak to my heart, letting me know he's there with me.
The passages he laid on my heart was Ps 1, Ps 121, Matt 6:33 as time went by, he laid on my heart music by Casting Crowns titled "Slow Fade" while listening to the music, God brought a teaching video, basis on the the bible passage.
Psalms 1:1-2 (KJV) Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
That was 1 of 3 passages that God laid on my heart, it heighten my awareness, but like most I still have struggles that seem to pull at me. Yet God is faithful, because he loves us, he continues to give us the strength that is needed. How awesomes is the God that gave his only son to die for us.
Again the Lord brought music and songs from the Movie "Letters to God" sung by the warren brothers titled
"Dear Mr. God" and Casting Crowns song titled "Praise you in the storm." The Lord reminded me that he is in control of my life and he is always there. He brought to memory another passage he laid on my heart the beginning of the year. Psalms 121:1-2 (KJV) I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
I am again reminded that God with me. He will never leaves or forsake us, and we need to look to God for help.
On Saturday while listening to music and writting my thought I was moved by Mercy Me song titled " Finally Home" and I thought about the words, it made me think, about the many question that I would like to ask God when I see him face to face. Will I be able ask those question or will I too be frozen in my footsteps at his awesome presence and be unable to speak? God has much more to reveal to me. He has a purpose and a reason for everything that happens in my life, and I am a work in progress.
Thank You Lord for your Love, Grace and Mercy.

Finally Home
I have not written anything in my blog, it has been a month since I last jotted down any thoughts. Today I am sitting at my computor, listening to a song from Mercy Me titled "Finally Home",and much like most songs that God lays on my heart. The thoughts that cross my mind; "will I be able to ask the question, I so long to ask GOD", when I face him, or will I be frozen in my steps, just at the sight of his awesome presence. I know for this awesome leadsinger song writer of Mercy me its something we contemplate.'
Artist: Mercy Me
Album: All That Is Within Me
Title: Finally Home
I'm gonna wrap my arms around my daddy's neck and tell him that
I've missed him and tell him
all about the man that i became and hope that it pleased him
there's so much i want to say
there's so much i want you to know.
[chorus]
When i finally make it home when i finally make it home.
Then I'll gaze upon the throne of the King frozen in my steps
and all the questions that i swore i would ask words just won't come yet
so amazed at what I've seen so much more than this
old mind can hold. [back to chorus]
And the sweetest sound my ears have yet to hear voices on angels.
[back to chorus]
The cliche that music soothe the savage beast is true.
God never fails to always bring to memory that he is alway with me.
Music is always something that soothes me and makes me aware of who God is, and he always with me.
Thank God for the many Christian song writer singers. There Passion for God is why the music is so heartfelt and inspiring for many.

Reflecting (What's on my mind?)
This morning on my way to work, I was sitting at the Waipahu Transit Center drinking my coffee waiting for my connecting bus. I was thinking about the latest email that was forward to me. I thought about the message it held for me. I started reflecting on the things that happened in my life. and how God was there evry step of the way. I still struggle with things in my life and I ask God to give me the strength to make the right choice. I am still a work in progress. I am a walking Testimony, and God has a purpose for me,I am to share my experiences with people. On Tuesday my daughter forward an email that her cousin share with her And it made my day
It made me reflect on my life. I have much to be Thankful
Subject: Rick Warren
This is my sermon for the day! Let it minister to you in person, and when it has; endeavor to share with others!
You will enjoy the new insights that Rick Warren has, with his wife now having cancer and him having 'wealth' from the book sales. This is an absolutely incredible short interview with Rick Warren, 'Purpose Driven Life ' author and pastor of Saddleback Church in California ..
In the interview by Paul Bradshaw with Rick Warren, Rick said:
People ask me, What is the purpose of life?
And I respond: In a nutshell, life is preparation for eternity. We were not made to last forever, and God wants us to be with Him in Heaven.
One day my heart is going to stop, and that will be the end of my body-- but not the end of me.
I may live 60 to 100 years on earth, but I am going to spend trillions of years in eternity. This is the warm-up act - the dress rehearsal. God wants us to practice on earth what we will do forever in eternity..
We were made by God and for God, and until you figure that out, life isn't going to make sense.
Life is a series of problems: Either you are in one now, you're just coming out of one, or you're getting ready to go into another one.
The reason for this is that God is more interested in your character than your comfort; God is more interested in making your life holy than He is in making your life happy.
We can be reasonably happy here on earth, but that's not the goal of life. The goal is to grow in character, in Christ likeness.
This past year has been the greatest year of my life but also the toughest, with my wife, Kay, getting cancer.
I used to think that life was hills and valleys - you go through a dark time, then you go to the mountaintop, back and forth. I don't believe that anymore.
Rather than life being hills and valleys, I believe that it's kind of like two rails on a railroad track, and at all times you have something good and something bad in your life..
No matter how good things are in your life, there is always something bad that needs to be worked on.
And no matter how bad things are in your life, there is always something good you can thank God for.
You can focus on your purposes, or you can focus on your problems:
If you focus on your problems, you're going into self-centeredness, which is my problem, my issues, my pain.' But one of the easiest ways to get rid of pain is to get your focus off yourself and onto God and others.
We discovered quickly that in spite of the prayers of hundreds of thousands of people, God was not going to heal Kay or make it easy for her- It has been very difficult for her, and yet God has strengthened her character, given her a ministry of helping other people, given her a testimony, drawn her closer to Him and to people.
You have to learn to deal with both the good and the bad of life.
Actually, sometimes learning to deal with the good is harder. For instance, this past year, all of a sudden, when the book sold 15 million copies, it made me instantly very wealthy.
It also brought a lot of notoriety that I had never had to deal with before. I don't think God gives you money or notoriety for your own ego or for you to live a life of ease.
So I began to ask God what He wanted me to do with this money, notoriety and influence. He gave me two different passages that helped me decide what to do, II Corinthians 9 and Psalm 72.
First, in spite of all the money coming in, we would not change our lifestyle one bit.. We made no major purchases.
Second, about midway through last year, I stopped taking a salary from the church.
Third, we set up foundations to fund an initiative we call The Peace Plan to plant churches, equip leaders, assist the poor, care for the sick, and educate the next generation.
Fourth, I added up all that the church had paid me in the 24 years since I started the church, and I gave it all back. It was liberating to be able to serve God for free.
We need to ask ourselves: Am I going to live for possessions? Popularity?
Am I going to be driven by pressures? Guilt? Bitterness? Materialism? Or am I going to be driven by God's purposes (for my life)?
When I get up in the morning, I sit on the side of my bed and say, God, if I don't get anything else done today, I want to know You more and love You better. God didn't put me on earth just to fulfill a to-do list. He's more interested in what I am than what I do.
That's why we're called human beings, not human doings.
Happy moments, PRAISE GOD.
Difficult moments, SEEK GOD.
Quiet moments, WORSHIP GOD.
Painful moments, TRUST GOD.
Every moment, THANK GOD..
If you do not pass it on, nothing will happen. But it will just be nice to pass it on to a friend....just like I have done.
God's Blessings
HE ARRIVED THIS MORNING, WE HAD PRAYER; SPENT SOME TIME JUST TALKING, AND HE HELD ME FOR AWHILE BECAUSE I WAS HAVING A BAD MORNING.. THEN, HE WAS ON HIS WAY TO YOUR PLACE.
When He gets to your PC, escort Him to the next stop. Please don't allow Him to sleep on your PC. The message He is carrying is very important and needs to go round. May God bless you.
It made me reflect on my life. I have much to be Thankful

Struggles
Lately I have been struggling with staying focus. Yet God has always been there for me, he reminds me, and brings to memory the passage that he laid on my heart the beginning of the year 2010.
He also brings to memory the Song titled "Slow Fade". He Reminds me that people don't crumble in a day, it's a slow process. It's because we, listen to empty words and promise, and we let them lead us astray.
God has brought to memory all that he has laid on my heart and will continue to laid other passages on my heart. These passages is just he beginning of what he has instored for me.

The Warren Brothers - Dear Mr. God
Lately I have been struggling with many things. It is so true that music can soothe the savage beast and it is inspiring. I have been listening to Casting Crowns and the Album "the Altar to the Door" has the title Song "Slow"Fade" and Mark Hall the leadsinger and a Youth Pastor, has a teaching video, which may have inspired the song "Slow Fade" stemmed from the bible passage Psalm 1:1-2. After listening to the video I understood the biblt passage that the Lord laid on my heart the beginning of the New Year 2010 and could see what he saw in the passage The man walking, then standing, then sitting slowly shutting down. The 5 W's Who? What? When? Where? Why? "People never crumble in a day." It's a slow fade.
This week I came across another song from a movie titled "Letters to God" and a song titled "Dear Mr. God." Lately I have forgotten how to pray and I've wanted to give in, and God reminds me that he is there and will always be there. He never gives us more then we can handle. I thank God for his Love, and breathing life into his word, Ps 121.
I am looking forward to checking out the movie. Listening to music especially when the words are so heartfelt, moving and inspiring.

Guarding My Time
Lately I have not been to church and its because of my laziness, I have no excuses. I'm sitting here thinking about my previous blog and the truth of Psalms 1:1-2 and I see the, Slow Fade of a person, and yet it does not happen over night it is a slow process, when we compromise, after compromise.
What kind of counsel are we seeking, who's counsel do we seek. There is much on my mind am I really guarding my time with God am I really hearing his voice or am I listening to self. I understand why those 3 Bible passages were place on my heart the beginning of the year. Its a reminder, my dependence is on God, my faith is believing Jesus.
I need to seek his counsel. Thank God For those reminders, for without his love and those reminders I would crumble. Slow Fade is a song that will stay on my mind, its teaching video will remain on my heart, as the song say People never crumble in a day, its a Slow Fade. When we allow ourselves to be compromised.
Satan comes to kill steal and destroy, he know what buttons to push. Even in my life my own marriage failed because I allowed myself to be compromise, I knew God and had a passion for him yet compromise after compromise, my marriage spiraled out of ontrolled that my children suffered. Yet God was faithfull he took cae of my children.
Eph 6:12 (KJV)
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Matt 6:33 (KJV)
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
The things added, Wisdom, Knowledge, Understanding, Faith, Love, Mercy, Peace
Life as a christian is never all roses but it is sufficient for when we are weak, God gives us Strength, for even when we are poor, With God we are rich. Thank God for the constant reminders.

Slow Fade
After Listening to the teaching video on the song Slow Fade, the lesson is so true it spoke to my heart.
It reminded me of the passage that the Lord had place in my heart the beginning of the year, Jan. 1,2010
Psalms 1:1-2 (KJV )1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
This Song; Slow Fade really spoke to my heart. Here is a small part of the song.
It's a slow fade when you give yourself away
It's a slow fade when black and white have turned to gray
Thoughts invade, choices are made, a price will be paid
When you give yourself away
People never crumble in a day
Daddies never crumble in a day
Families never crumble in a day
Oh be careful little eyes what see
Oh be careful little eyes what you see
For the Father up above is looking down in love
Oh be careful little eyes what you see
Thank You Lord!

Blinded
Is it difficult living a christian life, do we thank God for his never fading, never ending LOVE, GRACE and MERCY. Jesus will always be there when we need him, his love is unconditional.
Listening to this song reminded me, are we so blind as christian that we do not see others who are struggling and need help, are we so busy to not see those who need help. Do we not see them or do we not care because we are so closed mind, have we forgotten where we were before we got closer to God and changed our lives. Jesus die on the cross for everyone, and he is never to busy to see the things that go on with those he love. Jesus Loves You?

Sometimes Do We need Jesus To take Control?
Do we sometimes feel that we need Jesus to take Control.
It's been a time of struggling with alot of thing and yes even my faith, yet God never fails he's always there, to remind us of how much he loves us.
This Song Spoke to my heart. Like many others
As Christian do we let the world consume us that we lose control?
Do we forget our first Love (Jesus)?
Do we lose faith?
Let Jesus Take control
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Sometimes much that consumes our minds weighs heavy and we need to lighten the load, for we can't do it by ourselves, we need to let Jesus take that Wheel.
Thank You Lord for the many reminders

Tsunami! What thought cross your Mind?
On February 27, 2010 was awaken by my sister about a Tsunami Alert. 6,000 miles away in Concepcion, Chile their had been an Earthquake 8.8 Magnitude. It had causes much devastation, yet the death toll was minimal, unlike Haiti.
It caused an alert that trigger a Tsunami warning for the whole Pacific Basin.
The thought that crossed my mind was to watch and be in prayer. The Book of Revelation also cross my mind. God is Good all the time. All the time God is Good. I am grateful for another day and the many blessings.

The thought that cross my mind!
Today after reading something that had been post on facebook
In difficult times ahead
Posted by Anneline Strauss- Stein at 7:50am How many of you woke up today with the feeling that it would have been best if you just didn’t wake up? That is a very scary thought, but sad to say so many people feel that way. We have dreams and plans for the future, things we want to do and achieve and every day we wake up and just another day has gone past and nothing has happened. We think to ourselves that by the look of things it will never change, and its best we just give up. We pray and pray but nothing seems to happen, nothing seems to get better. We wonder if our finances will get better, we pray that our marriages don’t fall apart, we pray for that dream job, but nothing happens. So we think that prayer doesn’t work and we stop.
My dear friends I don’t have answers to when things will get better or how it will get better, but I want to encourage you to not give up. Anyone can give up that is the easy part; the challenge is to not give up. You may say that is not so easy and I do agree, it’s hart work to stay focused and positive. But who says we need to do it on our own? We forget that we have a Father that is full of mercy, love and grace. We only need Him in our lives. He made a promise to us and you just need to remember it, for has said in His word:
Deu 4:31 For the LORD your God is a merciful God. He will not leave you or destroy you or forget the covenant with your fathers that he swore to them.
God loves you and that is something satan can never take away from us. The thing I would like to ask from you today is to never stop hoping or lose your faith. You might thing things don’t look good right now and it will never get better, but the fact is you don’t know, you can’t see the future only God knows what is in front of us. That is why it’s so important to trust God and believe He will bring good unto us. God wants what’s best for you, He is your Creator, and all He wants from you is believing in Him and trust that He will do the best for you.
Lets not give the enemy what he wants, our faith in God. Without faith and hope we have nothing and are we totally lost.
Be strong my friends, things will get better. I don’t know when but trust in God
I have learned that God always knew what was best for me, its the choice I make that determine the outcome. I have learned that everthing has a consequence whether it be good or bad. God alwqys knew what was best for me no matter what.

Rememberance of God Mercy, Love and Grace
Here are a few words to a very familiar and popular Song.
A song that brought rememberance, reminding me that the same Love, Mercy and Grace, he showed me I need to show others. I really like this group and their Music.
I know You've washed me white, turned my darkness into light
I need Your peace to get me through, to get me through this night
I can't live by what I feel, but by the truth Your word reveals
I'm not holding on to You, but You're holding on to me
You're holding on to me
Thank You Lord.

Looking Back!
This is came about because of a disscussion due to the upcoming Holiday that was approaching. The subject of the Gettysburg Address, was among the discussion and I was asked if I knew it. I recited the first 2 paragraphs by memory.
"Fourscore and seven years ago our fathers brought forth upon this continent a new nation, conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal. Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation or any nation so conceived and so dedicated can long endure.
I was surprised that I could recite even the first 2 paragraphs by memory.
We have been bless as a nation our freedom did not come cheap.
Thank you to those men and women who have given of themselves for this Great Nation. May God Thank You

I Am a 'Kept' Woman!
'Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.
The way you cope with it is what makes the difference'
I've often told people who ask me what I do, that I'm a "kept woman"...this is the kind of "kept" to be!!
I Am a 'Kept' Woman!
You see , there were a few times when I thought I would lose my mind ,
But GOD kept me sane. (Isa. 26:3)
There were times when I thought I could go on no longer ,
But the LORD kept me moving. (Gen. 28:15)
At times, I've wanted to lash out at those whom I felt had done me wrong ,
But the LORD kept my mouth shut. (Ps. 13)
Sometimes, I think the money just isn't enough ,
But GOD has helped me to keep the lights on, the water on, the car paid, the house paid, etc... , (Matt. 6:25 -34)
When I thought I would fall,
HE kept me up.
When I thought I was weak,
HE kept me strong! (I Pet. 5:7 , Matt. 11:28-30)
I could go on and on and on, but I'm sure you hear me!
I'm blessed to be 'kept.'
Are you...or do you know a 'kept' woman ?
If so pass it on to her to let her know she is 'Kept'
I'm Kept by the Love and the Grace of God!
I am indeed a 'kept' woman and praise God for it!
Hope you can share this with other kept women!

Reminders! "'BOY DO WE NEED THEM"
Today I was frustrated because of something that was said, and became upset. Before I would have gone off on the person. I really had to ask GOD to humble my spirit and to take this feeling of anger away, also to take captive the thoughts that was not from him and bring it into obedience. Proverbs 22 was what was brought to mind. At first I did not quiet understand and I so needed God to help me. After asking for help, GOD laid this passage on my heart. Proverbs 22 "Moral Virtues and their Contrary Vices." Thank God for his love, mercy, and guidance and I know he is always faithful. After reading Bible passage I understood, and a feeling of peace came over me. I was reminded at the begining of the new year when God had laid these passages on my heart and mind along with this song. The Song Titled " My Help" the passages were, Psalm 121; Psalm 1; Matthew 6:33.
Again he brings to memory his word and how I need to let it seep deeply inside, to write it on the tablet of my heart and mind. God continues to laid passages on my heart not only as a reminder, but also for strength I know he has a purpose for me, and he is not done with me yet. Thank You Lord
A New Day!
Its another day thank GOD for the breathe of life. I am reminded that its the Lords Day. I need to praise him everyday. There is much to learn everyday is a day of learning, I am to be ready in season and out of season. We need to put our trust in him.

Our Need for a Transformed Mind:
The Freedom PlanGetting Ready for Freedom - Our Need for a Transformed Mind:
In the Bible (Romans 12:1-2) it says "do not be conformed to the pattern of this world". What is the pattern of this world? It says, "be transformed by the renewing of your MIND." So, the pattern of this world has to do with the mind.
We are all influenced by our upbringing and the culture around us. We are all trained to live according to the "pattern of this world." We can see in our own beliefs, habits, and attitudes that we usually react and respond to the world around us in the typical way the world does. Most of us have a similar way of dealing with people, problems, situations, and decisions. These universal approaches show us we really do have a "pattern of this world" we are following. However, until now we didn't realize we had any need to totally revamp our life-approach and our thought life.
Jesus Christ changes our hearts on the inside at the moment of salvation but that is just the beginning. What the seeking and growing Christian experiences next is a gradual shift in the way they think. Isaiah 55:8-9 says "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the Lord. "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." So, we see from this God has a different way of thinking and living. As we make the shift from thinking and living according to the natural pattern we are used to and begin thinking and living according to the training we find in the Bible and through the experience of walking with the Lord we find our lives are transformed.
If you notice in the verse above it is not just that God's way of thinking and living is different. His thoughts and ways are far better. His thoughts and ways are so much better than the "pattern of this world" he compares the distance between them as the distance between heaven and earth!
Every day of our lives we are working on conforming ourselves to a "mental life pattern" whether we realize it or not. This is a big deal because our thoughts and beliefs drive our actions- and our actions determine the outcome of our lives.
The Bible is teaching us in Romans 12 that the "pattern of this world's thinking" does not lead to a transformed life and it does not lead to a life of growing in the Lord.
When we want to have a transformed life and mind we don't need to focus on trying to somehow destroy old mental thought patterns. We need to establish new ones. We need to create replacement behaviors, thoughts, beliefs, reactions, and attitudes.
I am offering to you, through the plan below and through free email counseling (if desired) to work with the Lord and with you to help you establish new thought and life patterns that will allow God to transform your life over time. These same steps have worked in my very own life and in the lives of others.
So, now is your moment of decision and action. If you would like to be free from failure, sin, and the bondages of your old life pattern the Freedom Plan will help you.

Back When!
When I first decided to start a blog, my mind was consumed with so many things that it was in overload. I am not sure if my mind being in overdrive was due to the surgery done because of the brain tumor.
My mind is overflowing mostly with many question; Why? How can we? Could that be me? What was on my mind was there any otherswho see thing like me.
My concerns has been my spiritual life, and if you notice most of my blogs relates to My christian Walk with God. Yet there are times when other concerns cross my mind. Yet the one thing that consumes my mind is my spiritual walk with GOD.
I am still a work in progress he is not done with me. sometimes something that I've seen, question will arise. I still have question on how my mind can retain alot of information it amazes me. God is who has gifted me with the ability, its a blessing. The all time question; What's on your mind?

Beautiful day
It was a beautiful day today the beaches was nice and calm only the vog was heavy. Here in Hawaii we have vog not fog or smog. Due to the constant emisions of lava which has not let up it has created a haze that sometimes cover the island chain. Yet it was a nice day. I do not get out much because I am to tired from long work weeks that by the time the weekend comes around I just want to stay home. I am glad I had gotten out to the beach today.

What Will Happen To Our Children?
My mind is full of concern for the future of our children. Education has changed in Hawaii this school year since their is a short fall the decesion maker have decided to cut the budget in Education. Board of Education has created furlough with the union HSTA basicly to keep from laying off their already dwindling staff.
Hawaii public school are already below the nation academic standards. In Reading and Math. Hawaii created this no child left behind yet many student slip through the cracks, once the students made 18 they were told they needed to vacant and unless there was some type of intervention many did not graduate.
Most of Our Children are Public schooled, not all the families can afford to send there children to private schools and most, parents need to work. Here in Hawaii like any other big progressing city we have, the drugs, with that crime, homeless. What will happen to our Childrens future. They will not make it, the best jobs they will get will be working at Mc Donalds, Jack In The Box, etc; because we as a state failed to put value on Education, and the future of our children. It's sad when we put, greed, and self first.

Do they even Care.
Education plays a role in the lives of our children and their families, and most can't afford private school. Are those who make decision taking into consideration our childrens future. Its a question you wonder where are the minds of those official, when making those decision.

Another Morning
It is business as usual at work with the no shows no calls from employees. Its another morning, awoke with still the thoughts of the Bible passages, and song My Help on my mind which has been on my mind since the new year started. Now Proverbs 3: 5,6. I am thankful, for the breath of Life and another year.
What am I to do?
It being a new year, I am trying to stay focus on the important things, my faith, putting God first, and than family, remembering that it is God who sustains me he gives me the strength that is needed and he provides my needs. Mt. 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteouness and all these things shall be added to you. Its not always easy, for even Christian do wrong.

What is on our minds? (Is it always good)
Not always are things on our minds good, sometimes the not so good things are also on our minds. And yes all of us have those thoughts. Do we act on them? I know for myself I sometimes do, because I want too. Does the media influence those thoughts; The Bad Girls Club, The Girls Next Door, Deal or No Deal, Survival, Real TV, Tory and Dean, The Kardashians. Do these show serve any purpose; or are they only entertainment. Why do these show appeal to us?

My Help!
This song, My Help, has been on my mind. This Song is taken from the bible; Psalms 121 and a reminder of where my help comes from. Once before when I did not know the title of the song, the words just would not leave me it stuck in my mind. I kept thinking about the words. I searched the internet for a few day until I finally found the song and it's title. The passage was so familiar yet I had never heard the song before. I woke up, every morning with the passage and tune on my mind, I just had to get the music and title. (was more of a need)
Again this Song, and passage, accompanied with 2 other passages has been brought to rememberance. Psalm 1: 1-2 Matt 6;33, Psalm 121:1-2 has been on my mind everyday starting the New Year, it's my reminder. What am I to do now? That is not question I should be asking because The Answers are in the passages and many more passages.

Morning
Again another year, yet more hopeful, thank God.
Looking at the new year as the days go by, thinking how will this year unfold?
What is on minds of people, for this NEW year?
Looking at it from a christian point of view all we can do watch and pray!
How much of an impact can any of us make, it may be significant to some people or that one person, who's life you may have changed or influence for the better, and you are unaware. My belief is that we all have a purpose and a reason, for me that reason is my faith in God. I woke up this morning, with this verse on my mind also this song; Titled MY HELP by Reisa Young & Choir
Psalms 121:1 A Song of degrees. I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. (:2) My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. (3) He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. (4) Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. (5) The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. (6) The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. (7)The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
(8) The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. This is my Hope for the NEW Year. Praying always in season and out of season for one another.

IT'S A NEW YEAR!! ( What is on your mind?)
While on vacation in Kauai my thoughts was how hopeful the upcoming year would be. Its been a good year. Reflecting on the how God has always been there. Reading this email confirmed how Good God is.
Thought to share this with others:
Just Checkin In
A minister passing through his church
in the middle of the day,
Decided to pause by the altar
and see who had come to pray.
Just then the back door opened,
a man came down the aisle,
The minister frowned as he saw
the man hadn't shaved in a while.
His shirt was kind a shabby
and his coat was worn and frayed,
the man knelt, he bowed his head,
Then rose and walked away.
In the days that followed,
each noon time came this chap,
each time he knelt just for a moment,
A lunch pail in his lap.
Well, the minister's suspicions grew,
with robbery a main fear,
He decided to stop the man and ask him,
'What are you doing here?'
The old man said, he worked down the road.
Lunch was half an hour.
Lunchtime was his prayer time,
For finding strength and power.
'I stay only moments, see,
because the factory is so far away;
as I kneel here talking to the Lord,
This is kind a what I say:
'I JUST CAME AGAIN TO TELL YOU, LORD,
HOW HAPPY I'VE BEEN,
SINCE WE FOUND EACH OTHERS FRIENDSHIP
AND YOU TOOK AWAY MY SIN.
DON'T KNOW MUCH OF HOW TO PRAY,
BUT I THINK ABOUT YOU EVERYDAY.
SO, JESUS, THIS IS JIM
CHECKING IN TODAY.'
The minister feeling foolish,
told Jim, that was fine.
He told the man he was welcome
To come and pray just anytime
Time to go, Jim smiled, said 'Thanks.'
He hurried to the door.
The minister knelt at the altar,
he'd never done it before.
His cold heart melted, warmed with love,
and met with Jesus there.
As the tears flowed, in his heart,
he repeated old Jim's prayer:
'I JUST CAME AGAIN TO TELL YOU, LORD,
HOW HAPPY I'VE BEEN,
SINCE WE FOUND EACH OTHERS FRIENDSHIP
AND YOU TOOK AWAY MY SIN.
I DON'T KNOW MUCH OF HOW TO PRAY,
BUT I THINK ABOUT YOU EVERYDAY.
SO, JESUS, THIS IS ME
CHECKING IN TODAY.'
Past noon one day, the minister noticed
that old Jim hadn't come.
As more days passed without Jim,
he began to worry some.
At the factory, he asked about him,
learning he was ill.
The hospital staff was worried,
But he'd given them a thrill.
The week that Jim was with them,
Brought changes in the ward.
His smiles, a joy contagious.
Changed people, were his reward.
The head nurse couldn't understand
why Jim was so glad,
when no flowers, calls or cards came,
Not a visitor he had.
The minister stayed by his bed,
He voiced the nurse's concern:
No friends came to show they cared.
He had nowhere to turn.
Looking surprised, old Jim spoke up
and with a winsome smile;
'the nurse is wrong, she couldn't know,
that He's in here all the while
Everyday at noon He's here,
a dear Friend of mine, you see,
He sits right down, takes my hand,
Leans over and says to me:
'I JUST CAME AGAIN TO TELL YOU, JIM,
HOW HAPPY I HAVE BEEN,
SINCE WE FOUND THIS FRIENDSHIP,
AND I TOOK AWAY YOUR SIN.
ALWAYS LOVE TO HEAR YOU PRAY,
I THINK ABOUT YOU EACH DAY,
AND SO JIM,
THIS IS JESUS CHECKING IN TODAY.'
If this blesses you, pass it on. Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only true friends will leave footprints in your heart
May God hold you in the palm of His hand
and Angels watch over you.
Please pass this page on to your friends & loved ones. If you aren't ashamed. Jesus said,
' If you are ashamed of me,' I will be ashamed
of you before my Father.'
If you are not ashamed, pass this on. But only if you mean it.
