Changes

Changes 2013
Dec. 12, 2013
2 Peter 3:9The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

For some of us it takes time to return to God and altho we fail, God never fails. God loves us long before we ever loved him.  2012 was an epic year for me, after visiting Kauai many years for vacation I have always longed to move here. and I prayed for the Lord to make a way for me to move here by finding me a job; yet it did not happen.  I did not visit for almost a year due to illness, by 2010 I was back visiting Kauai and family.  God had been working in my life and my life started to change my outlook.
In 2012 I thought I was in the clear  after my regular MRI my doctor found the tumor had grown back. After all the test they decided to I need Gamma Knife Radiation.  After having the radiation I decided I the quality of live was more important .

Without really praying and getting direction from God, I moved, yet God was already ready for me doing things my own way and he had a plan.  I moved to Wailua and during that time I had to learn to be submissive to submit to God In everything.

I know that God will is always the best.

Everyday since we moved to Hanapepe Its a routine the before I leave and when I come home I go outside spend time with my Dog Kolohe and we pray thanking God for everything.  I KNOW AND BELIEVE THAT GOD ALWAYS HAS MY BEST INTEREST AND THE BEST TIMING. I have learn to persevere.

Working for my sister in law is a JOY I love what I do.  TYJ.

James 4:8-10
Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
Lament, mourn, and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you.

The Ultimate Gift, The Ultimate Goal

Oct. 12 2013
The Ultimate Gift, The Ultimate Goal

The word of God is precise, as individuals we all we see the word differently.  At times some of us receive the message instantly for others it takes time.  Jesus was born for the precise reason as an atonement for mankind, the ulimate gift. Jesus crucifiction was not the end it was the beginning.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life

In verse 17 through him the world might be saved.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Heaven and eternal life is the ultimate goal,

2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Jesus is the Ultimate Gift and the Ultimate Goal is heaven and eternal life.

This last year I struggle with being submissive, altho I prayed I was not submissive, I would second guess God, I wanted things done my way and yesterday. I had my own agenda when moving here, but God has another plan and being submissive is apart of that plan. God's grace opened my heart and my eyes.  Allowed me to experience the Godly relationship he intended for us the ultimate goal of redemption, salvation, to have eternal life in heaven.

Death from within

September 10, 2013

America will not be destroy by bombs it will die from within itself.  Looking at were the country is being directed away from God.  Look at the media money seem to be the object altho many say it a game, is it a game or is it who we are.  How can we speak God yet do things that is not of God.
Matthew 6:24  "No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.  For me I am ashame that sometimes Ido the same and everyday I have to go before God and repent and Thank God for reminding me that I need him. when I am week he is strong.
Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
1 John 1:9  If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  God love for us is infinite and unconditional. Our we willing to give up all and walk away and be solely depended on God or have we accumulated to much stuff to give it up.  I understand having it all and wanting more, not being satisfied. Abandoning God and living for me being selfish, rebellious, disobedient.
When God loves you he forgives you no matter what you have done. he draws you to him because he loves you. It's you that make the choice to follow him.
  For God So Loved
John 3:16-17 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. 17"For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.…

Americans have stray so far from God and they don't even realize we are focused on the things of the world and God is far from our thoughts these are crucial times we need to go about winning souls for God.

Labor Day Poems

Sept. 2, 2013
Labor Day Poems

Day Poem

God of shop and marketplace,
Of farm and studio,
Factory and shipping lane,
Of school and busy home:
Bless the produce of our hands.
Redeem our work for Kingdom-use.
By Your grace, our efforts stand,
All offered up to You.

There in Eden, You proclaimed
That we should work the earth –
Stewards over all we named,
Delighting in their worth.
Through our fall we brought decay,
Lost access to Jehovah’s rest.
Through the cross, we rest in faith
And all our labor’s blessed.

In Your image we are made:
Creative like You are,
Forming goods for use and trade
Just like You formed the stars.
Send us out in power and skill
To worship through each task assigned.
By Your Spirit we fulfill
The holy, grand design.

~ written by Bobby Gilles, and

Labor is a blessing and a curse,

Labor is a blessing and a curse,
As one must work to live and live to work.
Better jobs to get up for or worse,
On the whole, with none you'd go berserk.
Remember, then, that dignity requires
Doing, working, laboring -- a role
As giver, as attendant to desires
You recognize within some common soul.

Labor Day officially ends summer,

Labor Day officially ends summer,
As those who work enjoy one final fling.
Blessed are those who bear the daily burden,
Of whom few savants speak or minstrels sing,
Returning to the shallows of September.

Days of ease give way to hours certain,
A long routine that wends its way towards winter,
Yearning for the promises of spring.

Dreams what are their meaning

August 21, 2013

Dreams is their a meaning, normal I can never remember my dreams only last night dream for some reason I remember the words, "Crystal" "Throne." What I remembered was a sea of white what seems like people and 1 person in red. I did not understand why the dream, accept later the word Crystal Throne was brought to mind and decided to search the bible regarding Crystal Throne. Revelation 22:1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. I still do not understand the dream yet I know we are living in the end times.
Father God only you know why I dreamed this dream it what the meaning is for me, it will be you that will show me its meanings for me and what is needed.

Are we True Christian

This morning read a posting from a friend and this is what I read.
  • Pastor Jeremiah Steepek (pictured below) transformed himself into a homeless person and went to the 10,000 member church that he was to be introduced as the new... pastor that morning. He walked around his soon to be church for 30 minutes while it was filling with people for service....only 3 people out of the 7-10,000 people said hello to him. He asked people for change to buy food....NO ONE in the church gave him change. He went into the sanctuary to sit down in the front of the church and was asked by the ushers if he would please sit n the back. He greeted people to be greeted back with stares and dirty looks, with people looking down on him and judging him.

As he sat in the back of the church, he listened to the church announcements and such. When all that was done, the elders went up and were excited to introduce the new pastor of the church to the congregation........"We would like to introduce to you Pastor Jeremiah Steepek"....The congregation looked around clapping with joy and anticipation.....The homeless man sitting in the back stood up.....and started walking down the aisle.....the clapping stopped with ALL eyes on him....he walked up the altar and took the microphone from the elders (who were in on this) and paused for a moment....then he recited

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

After he recited this, he looked towards the congregation and told them all what he had experienced that morning...many began to cry and many heads were bowed in shame.... he then said....Today I see a gathering of people......not a church of Jesus Christ. The world has enough people, but not enough disciples...when will YOU decide to become disciples? He then dismissed service until next week.......Being a Christian is more than something you claim. I'ts something you live by and share with others.
  • I will say after reading this I was not surprised, the reaction people had when a homeless person approaches you.  The sermon was befitting for what had happen and the congregations reaction, yet it is sad the even christians can react badly we forget the word of God.  It is so true being a Christian is something you live by.
  • 1 Corinthians 13:4-7,13
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Faith (Can it be shaken)

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen

Yesterday two young Mormon Elders came visiting again, they came to share their faith they visited before and I was okay with it, as usual I am not one to confront or debate doctrine or theology.  I stand on the promises of God, knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt that God was with me and he would speak for me. They wanted to leave asome literature, at first I took it than I returned it and apologize and explain to them that I did not want to waste their literature that they could use it to share with some else, they politely ask me to humor them and to take it.
During the course of our sharing they shared their beliefs and I shared mine. I shared this scripture with them 1 John 4:1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
It was not a matter of who's doctrine or theology is right or wrong its a matter of sharing the love and the word of God with your neighbor,  Before we parted ways there was a reassurrance that indeed I was ok, they politely ask me if I ever need anything to just call them. I reassured them that I was okay.  These scriptures were my reassurance of God's unfailing love for me
John 13:34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

Romans 13:9b-10 and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”[c] 10 Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

Galatians 5:22-26 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

The question "Can someone faith and belief be shaken?"  For me answering my own question, "yes" it can be shaken if God isn't the true foundation of your life.  With God as the true foundation and the cornerstone of your life you can withstand anything that trys to shake your faith, you are able pick yourself up dust yourself off and move forward sometime its easier said then done.  With God you can get through it.  My faith has come full circle it doesn't mean I am out of the woods the devil uses everything in his arsenal to entrap us.
1 Peter 5:8
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
1John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
